The Oregon Department of Corrections has collaborated with Oregon county jails, Community Corrections, Board of Parole and Probation, and Oregon Youth Authority to enhance public safety by providing Oregon crime victims with the Victim Information System in Oregon (VISOR). We understand the criminal justice process can be confusing and intimidating; VISOR strives to ensure crime victims have a safe and confidential portal. The VISOR portal provides local and national resources, automated notifications on custody status changes, service providers information, and allows for users to create an account or remain anonymous throughout their VISOR experience. It is our hope to help reduce the challenges victims may face during the criminal justice process with a free, 24/7/365 service.
